My favorite tradition to do every holiday season is to create a personalized keepsake.

I’ve made tons of crafts with my kids and plenty of those had their names on them like their stockings and salt dough ornaments.

These keepsakes are meaningful to me because I believe my kids will treasure and appreciate those when they grow up.

This holiday season, obviously we will continue the tradition, however, I’ve decided to do something different.

I ordered a newly-launched personalized Magical Christmas book from Hooray Heroes to make this year’s personalized Christmas keepsake magical. My daughter, Coral is at that age where she believes in magic, especially during the holiday season. She loves to pretend-play and imagine herself being around Santa, the reindeers, a live snowman, the elves, and so on.

So, I knew I had to jump at the chance of getting Coral her own Magical Christmas book where she could see her character actually interact with the holiday characters.

From the get-go, Hooray Heroes provided a fun experience because the ordering process was delightful!

What makes Hooray Heroes unique is that their books are customizable from the start to the end.

I got to pick 10 stories (this part was hard because all the stories were lovely!) that my daughter would definitely love. I also created a main character that looks just like her. I typed out a personal dedication from Mom & Dad that would go in the book as well.

My daughter, Coral is learning to read, so it makes the book extra special because she could learn what the book is saying about her.  She would relish reading the book every holiday season for years and years to come.

I waited anxiously for the package to arrive, so I could see Coral’s reaction when she sees her book. One morning when it had arrived, I couldn’t wait any longer. I had her open the package.

She glanced at the cover of her own Magical Christmas book, she elatedly signed, “Hey, that’s my name!”

Watching her eyes light up when she spotted her name on the front of the book was a magical memory to cherish.

She quickly flipped through each page to locate her name. Sure enough, every single page in the book had her name! I signed to her, “This book is all about you!” Then, she sat down contentedly with her plate of homemade cookies and studied every story.
