DIY: Thanksgiving Hand Print Hunt Game
Teach your toddler about hands with this Thanksgiving hand print hunt game!
There are some Thanksgiving turkey hunt games going around and that sounds like a lot of fun. Since my daughter, Coral is 2 years old, she is learning body parts. Why not have her hunt her hand prints instead?!
- Apply paints on your kid’s hand with a foam paintbrush and press the hand onto the color paper. Do as many hand prints as you want.
- Let the hand prints dry
- Cut the hands and cut the cardstock papers in any size to fit the hands.
- Have your kid color the cardstock papers and write on the top what they are THANKFUL for.
- Glue the hand prints onto the cardstock papers. I used regular school Elmer Glue for this.
- Leave them to dry.
(Excuse my messy handwriting.)
Now, they are ready for the Thanksgiving hand print hunt game!
You can either do it indoors or outdoors. Since I live in Florida, we will do it outside in the backyard. I will hide the cards all over the backyard and have Coral hunt for her hand prints. It will be a fun Thanksgiving game!
