DIY: Thanksgiving Hand Print Hunt Game

Teach your toddler about hands with this Thanksgiving hand print hunt game!

There are some Thanksgiving turkey hunt games going around and that sounds like a lot of fun. Since my daughter, Coral is 2 years old, she is learning body parts. Why not have her hunt her hand prints instead?!

Win-win!

  1. Apply paints on your kid’s hand with a foam paintbrush and press the hand onto the color paper. Do as many hand prints as you want.
  2. Let the hand prints dry
  3. Cut the hands and cut the cardstock papers in any size to fit the hands.
  4. Have your kid color the cardstock papers and write on the top what they are THANKFUL for.
  5. Glue the hand prints onto the cardstock papers. I used regular school Elmer Glue for this.
  6. Leave them to dry.

(Excuse my messy handwriting.)

Now, they are ready for the Thanksgiving hand print hunt game!

You can either do it indoors or outdoors. Since I live in Florida, we will do it outside in the backyard. I will hide the cards all over the backyard and have Coral hunt for her hand prints. It will be a fun Thanksgiving game!
